Nocturnal

A long overdue purchase, I recently bought Te Black Dahlia Murder's latest release, Nocturnal.
The being the first of their albums i have bought i have to say I'm more than impressed by the sheer brutality and constant onslaught it provides.
From the first chord of "Everything Went Black" to the final beatdown of "Warborn" this album never lets up, just keeps coming stronger and stronger until it provides the best eardrum-shattering ive heard since i first listened to The Berzkerker's "Reality".
Most defintalely worth the £10.99 i paid for it, and most definately worth all you metal fans immediate attention.

Latest obesession: POLYSICS!

Polysics are a japanese new-wave band who look like they've gone round to Mark Mothersbaugh's house and nicked all DEVO's costumes.
The pure energy of POLYSICS smacks you in the face like an electric boxing glove, this combined with incredibly well written songs and great musicians makes POLYSICS one of the most awesome bands ive heard all year.
Their cover of The Knack's 'My Sharona' is so different from the original its hardly recognizable, yet still an amazing song.
