Dandi Wind

i dont know too much about this band other than; they are amazing.

comparable to if Marylin Manson was and electro band, these guys will blow you away.
haunting distorted vocals and catchy halloween-ey synth melodies.

"Apotempnophillia" is a catchy gothic electro song well worth a listen!

Bombs Over Baghdad

Here's a video i found last year when i was in my Rage Against The Machine phase
its a collaboration between the mighty RATM and funky hip-hop duo Outkast (you may remember Hey Ya! from last year)

and if you're in need of a good hip-hop album, buy the Speakerboxx/The Love Below double album by Outkast, its rad.

We Have A Getaway

s'been a bit slow for music this week, ive been busy with school trips, getting lost and being lazy so..

although i have discovered this lil' nugget of radness, WHAG are quite similar to YMA6, except a lil' more electro-y

The Black Dahlia Murder

You'll probably all have heard of these guys, however none of my friends had so i thought id post a link here to let them know how awesome they are :D
TBMD are a 5-piece death metal band, from Detroit, Michigan. they already have a a large fanbase and all that, and are similar in sound to BMTH (although they came first which lead to a lot of TBMD fans calling BMTH a copy band).

TIGER FORCE + Mika Miko, Tandem?

last night i went to see the Tiger Force, one of my favourite bands at the moment, for a grand total of only 3 quid! chuffed! ^^
anyway, them and Tandem? were supporting an all girl punk rock band called Mika Miko, who i had personally never heard of, but they're big in America apparently so..
anyway, this is what happened;

first on was Tandem?, who were surprisingly good compared to what their myspace had shown them to be,
the vocals could've been turned up abit, but i reckon the lead singer's tiny, half size guitar and amp more than made up for that :D

next to take the stage was THE ALMIGHTY TIGER FORCE! the moment i had been waiting for all week had finally come and as we sat near the front while they set up their equipment, the most amazing thing ever happened to me! Andy looked up and i caught his eye, with an inquisitive glance he then asked "are you will?" and i was like "yeah!" and he smiled, nodded and carried on what he was doing. that had to be my five minutes of fame, even though it lasted about 4 seconds... either way i was amazed :D Tiger Force played an amazing set, from what i remember it went;
  1. beat this
  2. hey yo square eyes
  3. five six i got sticks
  4. syntax error
  5. send in the evolution
  6. super lo-fi stutter happy panic song
  7. fires
  8. hey kids
  9. kill the wonder boy
  10. Tiger Force anthem

they played amazingly, one of the best live performances ive ever seen!
after the show they had a chat with someone who'd made a Tshirt (which i was gonna do if my darned printer hadnt've been shizer!) and then with us for a bit, and we got some cool stuff signed, and i bought a bead bracelet doodah (:
all in all, it was one of the highlights of my life and i will never forget it for as long as i shall live!

next up was the headliners, all girl band Mika Mikow, who also along with Tandem? were surprisingly good compared to their myspace recordings.
one of the singers had the coolest microphone i had ever seen, essentially just a 50s telephone with a mic in and lead coming out of it :D
despite all this however, they played at most 6 songs, asked the audience whether they thought it was a bad show or not in they're freaky american accents, then left the stage. kinda dissapointing really, but i guess they were cutting it a bit close for time...

either way, a very good gig, and happy i saved the £3 it cost to get in :D however if it werent for Tiger Force, i doubt anyone would've been there. when the other bands were playing, everyone either sat on the seats at the back, or just kinda stood round the edge chatting, whereas when Tiger Force were playing, everyone was in at the front nodding and singing along, and im pretty sure they were the only ones that were asked to sign stuff and the only ones the crowd went to talk to after the show. that just goes to show that Tiger Force are awesomer than you!

and now ive worked out how to get downloadable tings on dis here website, heres one for you lovely, non existant people
